MARTHA CASE NEMER FINE ART

Martha Case Nemer is a self-taught intuitive artist from Nashville, Tennessee.  She has always shared a deep love of all arts and admits she was a constant "doodler" from the time she could hold a pencil...and quite often doodling over her class notes and many important items.  She has been painting for three decades but became a full time working artist in 2012, after retiring from 25 years of luxury fashion retail, a family business.

Martha's definition of "retirement" is a little unusual.  She is also a certified health and wellness coach...helping others live their best lives.  (Simply Nourished by Martha)  She lives a very active lifestyle and truly lives life to its fullest.

Martha creates her paintings with many mediums such as acrylic, oil, charcoal, oil pastels, ink and whatever she can find interesting in the moment.  As a self taught artist, she takes pride in learning her own techniques with passion, motivation and hard work...and in her words, "creating lots of beautiful messes along the way"  She admits she has a particular weakness for golden hues and warm color palettes.
